Following a series of complaints received by both Glenavon Football Club and the NI Football League regarding the arrangements for visiting spectators at the Dankse Bank Premier League fixture between Linfield and Glenavon on 26 September, and having consulted fully with our stewards on duty on the ground that afternoon, Glenavon FC brought a list of criticisms to the attention of Linfield FC. These included admission to the ground, issue of tickets, seating arrangements, admission charges for very young children and the lack of adequate toilet facilities. These criticisms were subsequently discussed at a meeting between the clubs on 6th October. At the meeting Linfield FC acknowledged that the size of the travelling Glenavon support on the day had been underestimated. They also undertook to refer certain criticisms to the Stadium Management Committee. Both clubs accepted that 26 September was a one-off situation with planned work at the North Stand end of the ground due to be completed before we are due to next visit Windsor Park in February 2016.
